Caregivers and volunteers in The Hague can again apply for a gift certificate at www.denhaag.nl/waardering.
Caregivers and volunteers are important to the city and the people living here. This is why the municipality is thanking them for their efforts. Are you a caregiver or volunteer? Then you can apply for a gift card as a token of appreciation for what you do. You can choose your own gift card in a webshop. This way you can select something you like.
ApplyFrom 2023 there will be a different way of applying for a gift card than in past years. To apply you now need to log in using DigiD, for example. And you can choose from various types of gift cards. More information can be found at www.denhaag.nl/waardering (in Dutch).
Informal careYou are a caregiver if you provide unpaid care and support to someone in your immediate social setting (a friend or family member) over a longer period of time. For example because this person is sick, disabled or old. Informal care can be tough. Look for more information on help for caregivers on the page Hulp voor mantelzorgers (in Dutch).
