At Prinsestraat 5A, where restaurant Van De leur used to be, By Ami will open its doors at the end of September. The hip restaurant already has a branch in Rotterdam, but it is such a success that they are now opening a large business in the city center of The Hague.

Those who know the restaurant in Rotterdam know: at By Ami the colors and flowers pop and the menu is full of urban snacks and drinks. “That will also happen in The Hague”, Ahmed, the owner of both restaurants, tells us.

“The location in The Hague will have a completely different theme: Wonderfull forest. A colorful forest from sunrise to night. We have already finished the first murals and the artwork, you see a lot of flowers, plants and animals.”

The restaurant will be fully renovated in the coming weeks. Ahmed hopes to open at the end of September. “It is a big business and a lot has to be done and permits are also needed, so it may not be until October that we serve the first cocktail, but of course we hope for September. Soon everyone will be able to enjoy (vegan) dishes such as bowl and sandwiches, but of course you are also welcome for the high tea or the high gin.”
