De Parade

From Friday 7 July, the Parade will be in Westbroekpark. The park will be converted into a cultural place with a theater, a fountain tent and a merry-go-round for more than two weeks. There are food stalls such as Tante Naan with Indian curries and HotMamaHot with Asian dishes. You can go to the event by car, bicycle, on foot or by boat. The so-called ParadeVaartjes sail every hour from 11.00 hours to 18. o’clock. The boarding point is at the Central Station at Prinsessegracht 4. A ticket is available online or at the entrance from three euros.

De Buurtcamping

Always wanted to go on holiday in your own city? It’s possible this weekend! From Friday 7 to Sunday 9 July, the Zuiderpark, the football field of Don Bosco in Rijswijk and park Bokkefort will be transformed into small holiday villages with a lot of tents. Cooking together, doing activities and chatting: that’s what you can expect from the three-day. The purpose of the neighborhood campsite is to bring local residents closer together.

Jazz in de Regentes

Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July, Jazz in de Regentes will take place on Koningsplein in Regentessekwartier. During the festival you can expect food stands, jazz music and live performances. The line-up includes Boris van der Lek, Ragmob and Amaguk. You don’t want to miss the kick-off of this party. On Friday between 10. hours and 18. hours free bitterballen and herring are distributed.

Sustainability Market

A Sustainability Market will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July at the Lange Vijverberg. This is a market that is all about unique, sustainable and organic products. From handmade clothing to fresh jam: you will find it all here. There are also activities for children and food trucks. The market lasts from 10. until 17. hours and the entrance is free.

Seaweed walk

Say do you know the seaweed man, the seaweed man, the seaweed man. Do you know the seaweed man, he is coming to Scheveningen.” It’s real: Toine Wilke aka the seaweed man organizes Saturday 8 July from 11.00 until 15.20 hour seaweed walk. During the route you and Toine will look for vegetable salty snacks from the North Sea. You will learn more about the plant and you will even taste it. According to Toine it is a delicious addition to a meal and he likes to talk to you about it.

Hans Klok & Friends

Attention magic fans! Hans Klok is coming to Kijkduin with his gigantic circus tent and not alone this time. He will give his show Hans Klok & Friends with, among others, acrobat group Miami Flow, comedian Kevinski and handstand acrobat Nirio Rodriguez. During the performance you can expect a lot of illusions, humor and acrobatics.

Swan Market

Swan Market will be organized at Lange Voorhout on Sunday 9 July. At this market you can buy interior items, clothing, jewelery and posters directly from the maker.
