Rotterdam expects to be able to let a large number of “promising students”, students who the municipality thinks can use public transport or bicycle, flow out of the student transport system. In the future, the municipality will take a more critical look at which children are eligible for school transport and which are not. In addition, the municipality is also looking more closely at independence for new applications.
