Schiphol is expanding the possibility to reserve a free time slot for the security check. After a successful launch at the beginning of this year, it has recently become possible to book a time slot for both Schengen and non-Schengen destinations. By using a reserved time slot, travelers can travel on a self-chosen moment through the security check. As a result, they know exactly what time they are expected at the security check. For non-Schengen destinations, the subsequent border control is taken into account. The last time slot that a passenger can book is 90 minutes before departure. For Schengen destinations this is 60 minutes.
