Treasure hunting and rummaging through second-hand clothes; you can do that on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July in The Hague. Kilo Kilo comes with mountains of vintage trousers, T-shirts, blouses and more to Skatepark Sweatshop at Binckhorstlaan.

Shopping at Kilo Kilo in The Hague works as follows. You do not pay per item, but per kilo. One kilogram of clothing costs 18 euros. For example, a thin blouse can suddenly be quite cheap.

Win free clothing

It is completely cheap if you get a kilo of clothing for free . For free? Yes, you read that right. You have a chance if you participate in an old-fashioned jeans hanging contest. Twice a day there is a competition and the one who hangs the longest wins the prize.

The time when you can participate in the jeans hanging is not known. The organization chooses a random moment. Did you win one kilo of free clothing? Then you can redeem your prize immediately.

Play Nintendo

At the location at Binckhorstlaan it’s not just shopping this weekend. You can also play arcade games. For example, there is a special room where you can play old Nintendo Mario games.

Bargain hunting

If you feel like going on a bargain hunt, Skatepark Sweatshop at the Binckhorstlaan 271 are. Saturday you can between 11.00 and 18.00 hours off. On Sunday the Kilo Kilo Vintage Sale is between 11.00 and 15.25 o’clock. You pay 2 euros entrance

and you get a canvas bag with it. Got thirsty? At the bar you can get coffee, tea and soft drinks.
