Regular maintenance is carried out on runways every year, so that they are and remain in good condition. Minor repairs to the asphalt and markings are carried out on the Buitenveldertbaan Runway where necessary. The cabling and electricity are checked, lamps are cleaned or replaced and surrounding lawns are mowed. The rainwater drainage system is checked and flushed. Because the Buitenveldertbaan is not in use for air traffic during this work, there will also be an opportunity to check the taxiways all around and to adjust the signage. The work will be carried out in collaboration with Heijmans.
