Do you like to watch the development of the Binnenhof or are you curious if there is construction somewhere? Then you can on Saturday 16 June indulge yourself during the sixteenth edition of Dag van de Bouw!

On that day, construction and infrastructure companies open their construction sites to the public. On that day, young and old will discover all that is involved in a construction project.

Bouwend Nederland, the trade association for construction and infrastructure companies, is the initiator and organizer of the Construction Day. The day is part of the image campaign ‘The construction makes it’,

with which Bouwend Nederland shows how important construction and infrastructure are for the Netherlands according to them.

Construction projects in The Hague

You can also visit a construction site in The Hague. You can take a look at the Binnenhof during the Day of Construction. You have probably seen this beautiful structure before, but on 16 June the Binnenhof is extra special. No one is working there, it is very quiet and you are one of the first to get an insight into what it will look like after the renovation. Curious? Between 10 . and 16. hours you can come by. You have to register first, you can do that here

More interested in new construction? Then the Construction Day is also a nice outing for you. Between 10 . and 16. hours you can take a look at the new complex at Kijkduin. There is construction on 266 apartments and 16.010 square meters of commercial space. This will be called ‘New Kijkduin’.
