Regular maintenance is carried out on runways every year, so that they are and remain in good condition. Where necessary, repair work will be carried out on the asphalt and markings on the Aalsmeerbaan. The cabling and electricity are checked, lamps are cleaned or replaced and surrounding lawns are mowed. The rainwater drainage system is checked and flushed if necessary. The work is being carried out in collaboration with Heijmans. Because the Aalsmeerbaan is not in use for air traffic during this work, there will also be an opportunity to check the taxiways all around and to adjust the signage.
