It goes wild on the Malieveld! Friday 5 May is the Liberation Festival with performances by Jett Rebel, Jeangu Macrooy, Froukje and Rolf Sanches, among others. Accessibility Liberation Festival
The Liberation Festival takes place on the Malieveld, a 5-minute walk from The Hague Central Station. Further stops bus 16 and tram 1, 9, 15 and 17 close to the festival area.
Train The Malieveld is located near The Hague Central train station. May 5 is only a day off every five years, and that is not the case this year. This means that the trains will run according to the Friday timetable and that you will not receive a special discount.
Bicycle
There is a free, unguarded bicycle shed at the festival site. Bicycles that are attached to the construction fences of the festival can be cut loose and removed for safety reasons.
CarClose to the Malieveld you will find parking garage Helicon (at the Zwarteweg 45). When you reserve a spot you can 18,31 euros for a whole day. Click here to make a reservation.
Further you can find under the Malieveld right t. You pay 2 euros per 30 minutes and in garage Museumkwartier you pay 2,50 euros per half hour.

In The Hague, for now 15 degrees predicted and if you go to the liberation festival it is useful to bring an umbrella. Showers can fall in both the afternoon and evening, fortunately Berend reports that it will probably not be a soaking wet day.
