Because one of the stages of the free music festival The Life i Live takes place on the Buitenhof (in front of Pathé, H&M and McDonalds) on the night before King’s Day , the bicycle shed must be temporarily removed.
King’s Night
From Monday 24 April it is not possible to use the guarded bicycle shed at the Buitenhof for a few days. The bicycle shed will be temporarily removed to make room for the festivities around The Life I Live on Wednesday evening 26 April, the day before King’s Day.
If all goes well, the bicycle shed will be put back after King’s Day, but according to an employee of the bicycle shed, that would also sometimes only after the weekend of 29 and 29 may be April.
Other guarded bicycle sheds
You can of course park your steel steed perfectly guarded in the center of The Hague. For example, a Biesieklette can be found (a little further than Buitenhof) at the Grote Markt, in the Nobelstraat, on the Korte Poten and at the Town Hall and the Spuiplein.
