Who doesn’t know the clothing swaps and the repair service of the Sewing Shop? Roosmarijn van Soest and Isabel van der Meijde started De Sewing in 200 at the Boekhorststraat. Now the sustainable workshop is moving.

The company from The Hague is moving this weekend from Boekhorststraat to a corner building on Weimarstraat. A dream come true for Isabel and Roosmarijn. The new location will be festively opened on Saturday 8 April with a clothing exchange

Sustainable sewing workshop
For more than three years you can go to Boekhorststraat 48 go for an alternative to fast-fashion. De Sewing offers repair lessons and you can have clothing repaired in a creative way. Clothing can also be exchanged during swaps and they sell upcycled vintage. Isabel: ‘We started the Sewing Company because we think there is already enough clothing in the world.’
A new place
From Saturday, April 8, the new address of De Sewing Suezkade is 19. Roosmarijn: ‘We want to be more visible with this new location, so that the threshold for people to learn or have their clothes repaired with us is lower.’
