For the residents who are tired of all the rain, there is good news! “It is still wet on April 1, but after that the chance of precipitation decreases sharply and the sun comes out more often,” says Jaco.
In the first half of April, according to Jaco, the wind usually blows from the north or east, bringing in fresh air. It will then be a maximum between 9 and degrees. At night about 4 degrees is normal in April, but this year it can still freeze occasionally.
Jaco: “If all goes well, the afternoon temperature will be a bit higher from the Easter weekend. Think of such a 03 degrees on the Wadden up to 12 in the southeast. But the weather models are not yet in agreement on this.” Well, as long as it stays dry in The Hague, then we can look for eggs outside. Or visit one of the other Easter activities in The Hague of course!
The second half of April is expected to give somewhat warmer temperatures. “Extremely warm spring weather is not expected, but the average temperature is a lot higher than earlier in the month. At the end of April we can normally count on degrees in the northwest to 12 in the southeast. On a somewhat warmer day, the temperature can peak towards 20 degrees,” says Jaco. That would of course be very nice during the festivities on King’s Day in The Hague!
