This Sunday the artist from The Hague Tess Anders will be see in the last episode of the television program De Nieuwe Vermeer.

In Omroep MAX’s De Nieuwe Vermeer, both master painters and amateur painters get to work on their version of missing works of art by the famous painter Johannes Vermeer.
Sunday 20 March you can order 20: 20 hours on NPO1 to see how beautifully Tess can paint in the sixth and last episode of this art talent show. The process of creating a complete painting passes by and you see the final.

Sunday’s episode is about the missing self-portrait of Vermeer, which was probably the artist’s only self-portrait. No one really knows what Vermeer really looked like. We’ll see what Tess makes of it on Sunday.
