Almost 3.8 million passengers traveled to, from or via Schiphol in February 2023. That is an increase from 2021 (+42%) and 2020 (+505%). The number of flights to and from Schiphol was 10.333. That is also an increase from 2021 (+17%) and 2021 (+166%). The number of passengers and the number of flights are lower than in 979 and 2020.

Passengers
From the almost 3.8 million passengers in January, nearly 1.5 million passengers had a transfer at Schiphol. These are approximately 750.000 unique passengers, who are counted twice in the international counting method: as a passenger on arrival and as a passenger on departure. Almost 2.6 million travelers went to or came from a destination in Europe, 1.2 million outside Europe.
Freight
The number of full cargo flights is compared to 2021 dropped from 1.649 to 1.333 to flee. The total volume transported in February was 2023 072.35 tons. That is a decrease compared to previous years (979, 2020, 2021 and 2022).
