The Hague without H&M, it was no different in recent months. In a city where until recently there were two branches, one of the most beautiful H&M stores has recently undergone a major renovation. Today the store reopened in the old building of Maison de Bonneterie.
A lot has changed in the building. For example, an entire floor has been scrapped and many cash registers have been replaced by self-scanners. Below you will find the images when we were the first to enter the renewed H&M.
Ladies fashion
Little has changed at the entrance on the side of ‘t Goude Hooft. You will still find the women’s fashion department there. Nice and spacious and fresh, with a new coat of paint and a beautiful tree in the middle of the shop, you can see that something has changed.

Sports and beauty
Maternity clothing, sports and lingerie can be found on the second floor. Make-up and other beauty products also have much more space here.

H&M Home
Furniture and other items for your interior can be found on the ground floor from today. H&M Home even has its own entrance on the side of the Buitenhof.

Recognize the Bonneterie
What many residents of The Hague are afraid of is that history will be erased during a renovation. Fortunately, that did not happen at the old Bonneterie building. The beautiful loft with the glass dome and the chandeliers can still be found in H&M in The Hague. With the new self-scan, we even noticed a stained glass window with the Maison de Bonneterie logo, which we did not know yet.

From old to new
Cash registers out, self-scan in. That’s nice and easy. You will find self checkout on every floor (except kids and baby). If you still want to pay ‘just’ at a real cash register, you can do so in the basement and on the ground floor.

Men’s Department
One of the biggest changes is that the menswear department has gone from two to one floor. Some walls have been broken down, making the third floor seem more spacious.

Children’s clothing
You still have to be in the cellar for the little ones. Here, too, things have been refreshed. What is new is that the clothing is neatly arranged by size per rack. This is also where you will find the Budbee pick-up lockers.
