Last week Edwin and Sigrid from The Hague were on TV. They participated in the program ‘Weer in love with your house’, in which vtwonen stylists give houses that could use some love makeovers. This is how the couple’s house, in the Vruchtenbuurt, now looks like:

The blue-green kitchen, among other things, was not to the taste of Edwin and Sigrid, but stylist Frans could do something with it. View the photos here:

“You can easily convert a cooking island into a super cool bar with a conversion and bar stools . And don’t forget the hanging plants. They make it extra special”, says stylist Frans
“The repetition of the dark green color (Forest Green) creates for unity, just like the terra color of the sofa, the lamps and the copper. Wood, green and copper: this is how you keep a palette unambiguous and coherent”, says stylist Frans.

“Sigrid likes American diner-like corners, which is why I niche in the form of a corner sofa in the dining area”, explains the vtwonen stylist.
