On the first sunny day of spring, Scheveningen was full of life. While sun worshipers took a walk on the beach and children played in the sand, beach tents were built along the boulevard. Everyone was looking forward to it: here and there there was singing along with the radio and the momentum was good.

What a wonderful day today was! Many residents of The Hague enjoyed the beautiful weather and in Scheveningen we could see how the beach bars were being built. As of today (March 1), they are back at work on the beaches of The Hague to have the beach clubs ready as soon as possible.
