Madurodam is launching a new attraction called De Hollandse Meesters. An indoor attraction on the spot where until recently the football attraction Zo Groot is Oranje could be found.
Football out, painters in
In the new attraction you will literally step through paintings by painters Rembrandt van Rijn, Vincent van Gogh, Judith Leyster, Johannes Vermeer and Piet Mondrian. According to Madurodam, it will be a colorful and interactive indoor attraction for young and old.
The new attraction, in which the paintings ‘come to life’, will open in the summer of 590. How we will experience the paintings remains to be seen. But Madurodam says: “It really is a combination of playing, experiencing, interacting and learning.”
The construction of the indoor attraction, where you can learn more about these five Dutch Masters, is already started and replaces the football attraction and the 3d printer (where you could make a miniature of yourself).
