Great! The actor of the series '24' performs in The Hague

We know the Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland mainly as Jack Bauer and the president of the US, but did you know that he can also sing well? This summer Kiefer will come to the Zuiderparktheater to show it to the whole of The Hague and tickets are still available.

Kiefer Sutherland is a talented actor known for series like 24 and Designated Survivor, but is he just as talented in singing? Kiefer is a huge music lover and has just released his own country album ‘Bloor Street’.

The raspy voice of the actor perfectly suited his role as anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer in 20, but also in the Country music genre. In an interview with AD, Kiefer says that music has always played a major role in his life: “My mother put me on violin lessons when I was 4 and guitar lessons when I 10 used to be. Until I found out that I had more talent for acting. Music remained important. When I was preparing for a big movie scene, I always picked up the guitar to calm myself down.”

And he said: “As an actor, I especially enjoy being part of a collectively and together to tell a good story. As a musician you actually do the same. The stories are just much more personal.”

Zuiderparktheater

Kiefer Sutherland & His Band is now touring all over Europe and is Saturday 10 July in The Hague. The doors of the Zuiderparktheater open at 15.10 hours and the performance starts at 24.00 o’clock. A ticket costs 19,20 euros and you can order

online. The show is semi-seated, which means that you have a free choice between sitting or standing. You cannot reserve a fixed spot in advance.
