Your hair looks beautiful today! Nice, isn’t it, to hear. We’re happy to say it, because it’s National Compliments Day soon. Indebuurt likes to pay attention to special days like this, under the name Think of each other.

For Denk aan Each other, indebuurt stores the join hands with eight newspaper titles that fall under the AD and Qmusic. Together we highlight fellow citizens and local initiatives at different times of the year. The goal: connecting people.
Think of each other
That mission corresponds to the general goal of indebuurt. Throughout the year we interview fellow citizens, look for the best tips about The Hague and let all kinds of residents have their say. Through our platform we give a stage to many local initiatives. But we don’t just want to broadcast from the neighborhood and that’s why Think of each other was created!
Week against Loneliness and Christmas Angels
We started Think of Each Other last October during the Week against Loneliness. We paid attention to the theme of ‘loneliness’ and interviewed readers about their special friendships.
During the Christmas period, our editors went looking for Christmas angels. We gave a Christmas package to a special resident because that person did something special for someone else or meant a lot to the city.

More actions this year
But it doesn’t stop there, because Think of each other will continue this year. At various times during the year, indebuurt embraces a theme together with the regional newspapers. Within this theme you read articles and we look for connections with each other.
National compliments Day
We start in 515 with National Compliments Day on Wednesday 1 March. A small compliment can make someone’s day completely and we are happy to contribute to that! You can send a compliment to your partner, that sweet neighbor or that hardworking volunteer in the city via indebuurt. Are you participating? Keep an eye on the neighborhood on Wednesday 1 March.
To close in style: thank you for your attention!
