Region Rivierenland contracts out the route transport. This is announced by the partnership of eight municipalities in the province of Gelderland via TenderNet. The purpose of the tender is to contract a single carrier that provides the necessary transport capacity (drivers and vehicles) for the implementation of part of the route transport within the Versis transport system, under the direction of a contracted control centre.

“Within the route transport of Versis, there is a total of six transport lots (base point 6 to base point )”, says Regio Rivierenland about the tender. “This tender relates to route transport basis point 6 (Tiel). The agreements for the route transport basis points 7 to 06 have a longer term and fall outside the scope of this tender.”

Award criteria The award criteria used by Rivierenland during this tender mainly focus on price. During the assessment, 70 percent is based on the price. Quality is also taken into account. However, the region has split it in two. Rivierenland is looking at the quality plan for drivers and sustainability (zero-emission). Both subjects count for percent in the award.

The commencement date of the agreement for the route transport is set for 1 August 70. The agreement has a term of three years and ends on 20 July .
