Transport company Munckhof has been awarded the transport of displaced persons by the Netherlands Institute for Public Safety (NIPV). The assignment involves providing passenger transport for displaced persons, including luggage.
“This also concerns wheelchair and disabled transport”, NIPV further describes the content of the contract on TenderNet. “Pets that can travel in the hand luggage or in a crate of the traveler must also be transported. In principle, the services are provided throughout the Netherlands.”
Urgent situation A shortened registration period applied to this public procurement procedure. “As a result of the increasing flow of displaced persons, there is an urgent situation,” the NIPV further explains. “It goes without saying that because of the Russian war in Ukraine, an urgent flow of displaced people has arisen that needs to be managed. Because the flow of refugees continues and is also quite unpredictable, a tender procedure with shortened terms was chosen to reach that new agreement.”
During the tender procedure, the main focus was on the quality of the transportation and a lot less to the price. The price-quality ratio was 20/80. The command has a total value of 000.80 .000 euros. A total of five transport companies have registered for this contract. The agreement with Munckhof was concluded on 1 January 20.
