A large tent has been on the Grote Markt for a few weeks now. Events are regularly organized in ‘De Tent’, such as the Winter Beer Festival next weekend. After dry January you can taste alcohol again and you can celebrate that on Friday and Saturday with sixty different beers.

Friday 3 and Saturday 4 February beer brewers from all over the country will be presenting their tastiest brews on the Grote Markt.
Winter Beer Festival
Before 01,- you get a tasting glass of 14 cl and a coin. Do you want more coins? These cost 3,14 euro each. You can then taste beer at Kompaan, Haagsche Broeders, Two Chefs, Uiltje, Oedipus, Lowlander, Van de Streek, ‘t IJ, Davo, Stadshaven, Jopen and Bax.
You can’t drink on an empty stomach, so you can also order food there. To complete the atmosphere, pictures are played that you can dance to.
The winter beer festival is Friday February 3rd from 16. until midnight and Saturday, February 4 from 14.00 hours to 01.00 o’clock.
