The municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân awards Wmo and student transport to Taxicentrale Witteveen from Lemmer. The Wmo assignment is shared by the Frisian taxi company with De Vier Gewesten from Rijen in North Brabant.
The assignment regarding student transport includes commissioned and with professional transporting taxis of vulnerable students in the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân. During the award of this contract, the main focus was on timely capacity, communication, punctuality, sustainability, knowledge, skills and treatment. The contract awarded to Taxicentrale Witteveen has a total value of one million euros and will last until 31 July 2023. The framework agreement between client and contractor has meanwhile been concluded.
De Vier Gewesten The municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân is in charge and the implementation of the Wmo transport also awarded to Witteveen, but the company must share this contract with De Vier Gewesten from Rijen in North Brabant. Management of the transport includes, among other things, accepting the journeys, drawing up the journey planning, the journey registration, handling complaints and providing information to the client. The total value of this contract, which runs through 20 September 2026, amounts to a total of 1.1 million euros.
