In early in the morning in the city hall of The Hague there were dance performances by groups from all over the country, followed by a spectacular dragon parade through the center. Today, 21 January 2023, Chinese New Year was celebrated in The Hague. Tomorrow is the first day of the year of the Rabbit.

The dragon parade started a little later than planned on the Spuiplein, the square was now full of people. In a wonderful winter sun everyone could enjoy beautifully decorated dragons, although it was sometimes crowded to see it properly. We especially saw many children looking at the Chinese dragons in amazement.
