Saving tip: pay less on your registration for a social rental home in The Hague

Thousands of people are registered with Woonnet-Haaglanden in The Hague. As a (future) resident of The Hague, you pay an amount for this every year. From February 1, that contribution will increase, but we have a tip to save money.

From 1 February 2022 Woonnet-Haaglanden increases the prices for the registration and renewal. Prices are increased by one euro. You can read below how you can save money.

Looking for social housing in The Hague or environment? By registering with Woonnet-Haaglanden you can respond weekly to available rental properties. The waiting list is quite large, but with your registration you also have a chance to win homes that are given away via lottery.

The option to respond to rental properties remains active when you extend your registration. You pay an annual amount for this, which is increased by one euro on 1 February.

Save on your registration

New registrations and extension of Woonnet-Haaglanden costs from 1 February 2022 ,50 euros per year. You pay this amount every year via IDEAL. But with the following tip, your renewal will only cost 11 euro: issue a standing order. This way you do not have to worry about renewal and save 2, annually euros. Still a nice bonus!
