Taxi company Linsen from Driel will be responsible for VIP transport in the province of Gelderland in the coming period. This is reported by TenderNet. The taxi company from Driel has been awarded the contract to transport members of the Provincial Executive of Gelderland.

The assignment concerns the provision of transport services for the province of Gelderland. This mainly concerns the provision of VIP transport in the context of commuting and all regular business trips for the members of the Provincial Executive (six persons) and the general director of Gelderland. Think of bringing a deputy from the House of the Province to The Hague or picking up a deputy from home and transporting it to The Hague.

In addition to the so-called VIP transport, taxi rides for officials of the province of Gelderland are also part of the assignment. The contractor may be requested to transport a civil servant if the civil servant himself is unable to come to work, but is able to work. The province of Gelderland currently has five official cars and employs five drivers.

Flexibility During the tender, the main focus was on the energy label of the car, a permanent pool of drivers, representativeness and flexibility. All these four award criteria were given equal weight. We also looked at the price. The ratio between quality and price was 40/40. In total, only one company participated in the tender. The deal was finalized on January 2023.
