Lennert l’Amie will become Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Royal Schiphol Group. He succeeds Sjoerd Blüm, who has held this position since 2017. Lennert has been with Schiphol since and is currently in charge of the Airport Operations Business Platform.

“ It is impressive what IT & Data has achieved under Sjoerd’s leadership and what ambitions have been formulated. With Lennert we have a suitable successor in house to further shape this. Lennert has experience in all areas of IT & Data and has a clear short and long-term vision for IT & Data at Schiphol. I have every confidence that Lennert will realize this vision together with colleagues. CFO Robert Carsouw Schiphol is a wonderful company and I am therefore proud to give further substance to our ambitions in the role of CIO. Technology and data are crucial to continue to meet the challenges ahead, from passenger experience to pressure on the labor market. I look forward to contributing to this together with all colleagues during this special time. Lennert l’Amie It was an honor to lead Schiphol’s digital transformation as CIO. I look back with pride and pleasure on a great period and cooperation with motivated colleagues. We have installed solutions in all parts of Schiphol: from Operations to Real Estate and from Asset Management to Security. And have laid an IT and Data foundation for the future: from Schiphol app to workplace and from platforms to sensor networks, all with a strong cyber security basis. Now it’s time for something else, I’m happy to hand over the baton to Lennert. After the transfer, I will continue to be active for Schiphol Group Aviation Solutions. Sjoerd Blüm„
