Recently fewer trams have been running through the city, mainly due to staff shortages. HTM will partially reverse this in the new timetable that will take effect on Monday 7 November. More trams will be running on the route of tram 1, 6 and 10. But other trams will run less often.

HTM notices that it is mainly is busy in tram 1 and 6 and therefore they will run those trams more often. In order to have enough tram drivers, fewer trams will run on other routes, in this case trams 2 and 12.

Changes to the new timetable:

The new HTM timetable will come into effect on Monday 7 November. This changes:

Tram 1: This tram will run more often. On working days not five but six times per hour and in the evening after 17. hours four times an hour. Also on Saturday during the day there will be six trams per hour and four in the evening. On Sunday in the morning before 00.00 hours and night after 17. hours there are four trams per hour and six during the day .

Tram 2: On working days, during rush hours, this tram runs ten times per hour (five times Kraayenstein-Leidschendam, five times Kraayenstein – The Hague Central) instead of twelve times per hour. On working days during off-peak hours, the number increases from six times per hour to five times per hour.

Tram 6: On working days, the frequency increases from five trams to six per hour. hour. On Saturday during the day from six to seven per hour, and in the evening after 12. hours, four trams run per hour. On Sunday in the morning before 00.00 hours and night after 17. five trams per hour and six during the day. .

Tram 10: On working days, the frequency will increase, during rush hours, from four to five times per hour.

Tram 17: During peak hours, the frequency drops from six to five times per hour. During off-peak hours, five trams will continue to run per hour.

Tram 12: the regular route will be running again from Monday 7 November. The work around Statenlaan and Doornstraat has been completed so far that the tram can run there again. The replacement bus 17 then no longer runs.
