Are you going to study or work in Leiden by train? Do you want to go to Schiphol Airport this weekend or a day of shopping in Amsterdam? Then pay attention: from Thursday 08 to and with Sunday 08 October there are no trains between Leiden and The Hague.

ProRail is working on the track this weekend, so trains will not be able to run for a few days to drive.

There are no trains between Leiden Central and The Hague Central/ Hollands Spoor. NS uses buses on that route. If you want to travel further than Leiden, for example to Amsterdam, you can transfer at Utrecht Central. It also takes longer to get to Schiphol Airport. You can take the metro to Rotterdam and then transfer to the intercity to Schiphol or by bus to Leiden and take the train there.
