Each year the municipality awards a gift certificate (a Pluim) to volunteers and caregivers (mantelzorgers) in The Hague. It gives the gift certificates as a token of appreciation for the important work that volunteers and caregivers are doing.
The Pluim is for:
volunteers who work for a minimum of 3 months for an organisation in The Hague caregivers who care for a resident of The Hague a minimum of 8 hours a week for at least 3 months You can use the gift certificate for an excursion, a gift card for a shop or a product. The gift certificate is valid for 3 years.
ApplyVolunteers and caregivers can request the gift certificate online themselves. Fill in the online form before 31 December 2022. Then you will receive the gift certificate at home in the mail at the beginning of February 2023.
Volunteers can apply for the Pluim via www.denhaagdoet.nl. Caregivers can apply for the Pluim www.denhaagmantelzorg.nl.
