On the Grote Marktstraat, where until recently Fratelli was located, new neon light has been burning since last week. The Hague has a new hotspot: Wow Crab. We took a look between the buckets and fish!

If you’ve ever been to the American coast, you know the phenomenon seafood boil perhaps. A large pan or bucket
full of cooked shellfish is turned over on the table. Bib on, lobster cracker in hand and go.
Eat with your hands
After Fratelli and Jamie Oliver, from this week it is Wowcrab’s turn to open the restaurant on the Grote Marktstraat 22 into a success. Saturday 10 October the business, where you can eat with your hands, will open for the first time. Until then, they are running test.

On the menu of Wow Crab you will find all kinds of chicken and fish dishes, such as oysters, wings and chips
and lobster bisque. But what it’s really all about is the ‘seafood in a bag
‘.
First you choose which types of fish you want. Think of fresh mussels, lobster, crab or shrimp. They also have different combos. Then you choose the marinade and the
spice
level. The ‘Wow Style’ is the signature
marinade: a mix between garlic butter, cajun and
lemon pepper.
