British police arrested a 20-year-old boy this weekend, believed to be the hacker who behind the attacks on Rockstar Games and Uber, has been arrested. More arrests are expected, according to tech journalist Matthew Keys.

“London police arrested a 20-year-old boy in Oxfordshire last Thursday on suspicion of hacking,” he said. the police announced this weekend via Twitter. “He has been charged and is currently in custody in connection with the investigation.”

According to tech journalist Matthew Keys, it is the hacker who is behind the attack on game company Rockstar Games and probably also behind the hacking attack on taxi platform Uber. In addition, Keys reports that the suspect is behind more attacks. “ I have received confirmation that the 20 year old was arrested in Oxfordshire for the cyberattack on Rockstar and Uber, the same teenager arrested earlier this year for hacking into Microsoft and Nvidia. The teen is associated with a group called ‘Lapsus$’. More arrests are expected,” he also writes on Twitter.

Research Two weeks ago a hacker broke into Uber’s internal systems. As a result of the hack, the American taxi and meal delivery company had to shut down various internal communication and technical systems. An investigation was then launched to determine the material damage. However, according to Uber, the hacker did not gain access to the production systems. Also, no credit card or bank account numbers were stolen.
