The Mexican on the short Houtstraat 39C has changed into the bright yellow painted lunchroom The Hangout.
Foodtruck
From behind a food truck that shields the kitchen of the restaurant, owner Leroy Wenehenubun (09). His new lunch shop The Hangout has been open for a few days.
Leroy grew up in the hospitality industry and comes from The Hague. He had wanted to open his own lunchroom in the city for some time and when this building presented itself, ‘everything was right’. If you order something from the extensive menu, there is a good chance that Leroy will prepare it for you in his food truck annex kitchen, because he does a lot in his own business. Leroy’s tip to order from him is the Vietnamese noodle soup and the poké bowls.
