The popular Indonesian restaurant Waroeng Padang Lapek on Schoolstraat is moving. But they don’t have to lug the moving boxes very far because they move to the other side.

The building where Funkie Women was located until a few months ago is now undergoing major renovations. In about three weeks, Waroeng Padang Lapek will open its doors there.

Indonesian food

For authentic Indonesian dishes you have to go to Waroeng being Padang Lapek. In August they move to the address across the street. There is more space there for more tables, so that’s a smart idea.

The place where the restaurant is still located (Schoolstraat ) will be transformed into an Indonesian supermarket after the move.
