Schiphol has informed airlines and travel organizations that they must set a maximum this summer on the number of travelers that can depart from the airport per day. The maximum number of departing travelers that Schiphol can facilitate varies per day and rises to .500 on the busiest days in July and until 67.500 in August. Without intervention, unmanageable queues would arise and many travelers would miss their flights. This creates unsafe situations for travelers and employees.

† We take this measure with a bad feeling. Especially after the impact of corona, we and all our partners want nothing more than to welcome all travelers with open arms. A lot is possible at Schiphol this summer, but not everything is possible. This measure ensures that the vast majority of travelers can travel safely and reliably from Schiphol.
