De Vier Gewesten, Taxicentrale Witteveen and are the new carriers with which the municipality of De Fryske Marren is going to work after a tender for four framework agreements for target group transport, including demand-dependent and route-related transport.

The tender was divided into four lots: demand-driven transport, route-related transport North, Route-related transport South and Route-related transport Physical education. The municipality wanted to conclude one framework agreement with one carrier for each plot. Companies could compete for multiple lots. The contracts will start on August 1 and run until 31 August 2027.

Four lots, three carriers The first lot concerned WMO transport. This has been awarded to De Vier Gewesten.

Taxicentrale Witteveen will operate student transport in both lot 2 and 3. The company was the sole tenderer for both lots. Lot 2 concerns the area in the municipalities of Groningen, Leeuwarden, Opsterland, Smallingerland, Sûdwest-Fryslân, Tynaarlo and Waadhoeke. It is about such 170 students. Lot 3 includes the transport of students to destinations within the municipalities of De Fryske Marren, Grave, Heerenveen, Lelystad, Noordoostpolder, Weststellingwerf and Zwolle. These are such 86 students.

Plot 4 goes to The carrier will provide route-bound transport for groups of primary school students and counselors between the school and the physical education location. It concerns about 37 groups per week.
