A taxi ran into a traffic controller in the parking lot of Keukenhof in Lisse on Sunday afternoon. The driver continued to drive and is still on the run from police.
For safety reasons, visitors to Keukenhof are only allowed to leave the car park on the right. The taxi driver, on the other hand, wanted to turn left, according to the Leidsch Dagblad . When the traffic controller tried to indicate that he could only turn right, the driver would have accelerated and hit him.
Injury to his foot The traffic warden still jumped away, but the taxi ran over his foot and then out of the parking lot. The victim sustained injuries to his foot, but the injuries were not so serious that he had to be taken to hospital. He has since filed a report at the police station. The police have the license plate of the taxi and are still looking for the driver.
