During Holi Phagwa, the one billion Hindus around the world ring in the New Year and celebrate the Spring Festival. Also in Wijkpark Transvaal, on Friday danced in March by many Hindustanis and other partygoers.
Holi is an exceptionally exuberant party where Hindus smear each other with colored powders. They also paint each other’s faces so that you no longer see the difference between origin, young and old. So everyone is equally equal. And don’t think that as a visitor you can ‘escape’ the powders scattered everywhere. Because everyone who walks around in Wijkpark Transvaal during Holi has to believe in a colorful lubrication.
Subh Holi or a beautiful Holi Phagwa spring festival for everyone!
