The number of flights to and from Schiphol was 24.126 (+126% relative to 2020, -24% relative to 2021 and 2019). The number of cargo flights was 1.731 (-19% relative to 2021, +61% relative to 2020, +63% relative to 2020). The tonnage of freight transported was 5% lower compared to last year and 2% higher compared to 2020 and 2019.
Of the total of almost 2.7 million passengers in February, 1.1 million passengers had a transfer at Schiphol. These are approximately 731. unique passengers, who are counted twice in the international counting method: as a passenger on arrival and as a passenger on departure. 1.9 million travelers went to or came from a destination in Europe, almost 731. outside of Europe.
The number of full cargo flights is in relation to dropped from 2.129 to 1.550 to flee. However, the number of cargo flights increased compared to 2020 (1.63) and 2020 (1.061). The total transported volume was in February 2021 63.550 tons.
