The Hague has a special bond with horses. We have the royal stables and the Stadsrijschool on Kazernestraat is the oldest riding school in the country.
Over time we have used horses a lot, for example to pull cars when there was not enough petrol, to ride horses with bathers into the sea or to pull billboards around.
