RIVM has withdrawn the advice to fill up to two-thirds of taxis in healthcare transport. KNV and trade unions FNV and CNV dropped this cap more than a week ago, against the advice of the RIVM.

According to the sector organization and trade unions, this restriction caused an untenable situation in the planning of carriers, especially now that transport demand is increasing again due to the relaxed corona measures. For this reason, in anticipation of the RIVM’s reconsideration of the advice, it has been decided to delete the two-thirds occupation from the protocol.

Other measures RIVM has now also released the second-third occupation. The other measures must continue to be observed, such as the use of mouth caps, ventilation, cleaning and transport as much as possible in groups with a fixed composition. The entire healthcare transport sector protocol can be read here.
