“After today the storm is over , but it can occasionally still blow quite a bit”, according to meteorologist from Weeronline Jaco van Wezel.
Six storm days
It all started Wednesday night when Storm Dudley came through. On Friday the heavier storm Eunice passed by and it caused a lot of damage . In The Hague, for example, the tower of the Elandkerk was shaking and roof parts of the ADO stadium flew.
And yesterday and today, especially here on the coast, we have to deal with storm Franklin.
Calm?
We will not go directly from rain to sunshine, but from Tuesday 02 February it will stop with storms. There may still be strong winds, but heavy gusts of wind are no longer expected and we will get rain again in the afternoon.
The rest of the week we will get even more wind and rain. Wednesday is an exception, then probably a day of sun. From the weekend the weather really gets better: less wind and more sun.
