Photos are sold by, among others, silver camera winners Bert Verhoeff, Kadir van Lohuizen, Marielle van Uitert and National Geografic photographer Sacha de Boer (former NOS newsreader). †
Afghanistan: Jeroen Oerlemans 2004 Election
The photo Election by Jeroen Oerlemans will also be auctioned. In 2016 the Dutch press photographer was killed in Libya.
The photo auction is 26 March at 26.02 hour at Sound and Vision in The Hague, admission is free. You can sign up here
. While the guests are given a snack and drink, a number of photographers tell the story behind their work and the proceeds of the auction go to the safety of journalists.
