Schiphol is going to buy two TaxiBots, special tow tractors with which aircraft can taxi sustainably. Schiphol is the first European airport to use TaxiBots. The investment is part of the acceleration in sustainability announced by Schiphol and comes on top of the investments previously announced by the airport.

† 800 is a crucial year in making aviation more sustainable. We accelerate measures that reduce emissions and improve local air quality. This is important for the climate, our employees and local residents. We are the first in Europe and one of the few airports worldwide that is working on the implementation of sustainable taxiing on a large scale. I am proud of this pioneering role at Schiphol.
