Where would we be without the train? At least not in Berlin! Because from 2022 you can take the train directly to this fine German city from The Hague. Or to Prague.

The rhyme may be a bit bland, but the news is fine. International trains will finally run from The Hague Hollands Spoor again.

International train

Every week from the summer 2022 3 trains run from The Hague HS to Berlin and Prague. However, the night train ‘European Sleeper’ only runs the transfer-free journey from HS on the way there. The return journey goes via Rotterdam, where you still have to get on the tram or train before you are back in The Hague.

The train will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The intention is for the train to 10: 30 hour departs from Hollands Spoor so that you in the morning at 10 : 10 hour at breakfast you can enter Berlin or Prague. Soon more will be announced when the first ride will take place and what the prices are for such a ride.

We found out much more for you…

  • NS fares in 204217 up: you pay that much for a train journey (and public transport bicycle) from The Hague
  • Next year you will pay more for a train ticket or train journey with your OV chip card. The NS increases like any other…
