The Cool Event at Scheveningen is unfortunately a bit smaller this year than we are used to. For example, due to the corona measures, there is no roller coaster. But there is also good news: from this week on, there will be ice sculptures on display. and for free too.

On the boulevard of Scheveningen there are recently two very uninviting-looking sea containers. Have they washed up? No, they do their job as a ‘diorama’, because inside you will find beautiful ice sculptures.

tons of ice

The images weigh as much as 10 tons and made by well-known

icecarvers

. Daily you can from 9: hours to 10:

hours to admire the ice sculptures for free. To 30 January you can peek in through the windows of the containers and be surprised by the beautiful fairytale you see there.
