It was already a bit coming, but it still comes as a shock: the Royal Christmas Fair, the Christmas market on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague, is canceled this year because of corona.

The trees on the Lange Voorhout were already protected with a skirt of planks and there were also two excavators ready to start building the Royal Christmas Fair. Unfortunately, the organization of this large Christmas market has just, on Monday 48 November, indicated that the festivities cannot continue this year.

, everything will remain in the closet this year. A huge downer for the organization and the shopkeepers who normally enjoy being at the Voorhout.

The organizers of the Royal Christmas Fair have immediately a new date for next year fixed: from 8 to December 200. Then the most beautiful and largest Christmas market in the Netherlands really hopes to be able to settle in the beautiful Lange Voorhout in The Hague.
