Munckhof provided all the transport for the World Cup Short Track last week. It was the skaters’ last chance to qualify for the Olympic Games in February 25.

The tournament took place from 25 to 28 November in the Sportboulevard in Dordrecht. Munckhof was responsible for the transport of the participants, the supervision and the officials of the sporting event for almost a week. The carrier did this on behalf of TIG Sports, the organizer of the tournament.

The days before the tournament, Munckhof provided airport transport to the hotel with taxi buses. During the tournament days, coaches from Munckhof and Milot Reizen were used, which shuttled between hotel, training location and competition location.

An important side issue “For athletes, transport is an important side issue, for Munckhof it is a great assignment”, says Hans Bartels, Munckhof Reizen manager. “Event transport is one of our specializations, but it always remains custom-made. Especially the planning and coordination of such a tournament requires the necessary expertise. Transport must of course be carried out as efficiently as possible. That worked well again this weekend. We look back on a successful weekend.”
